DESCRIPTIVE PARAGRAPHS
On my way from school I often come across an ice cream vendor. He is a middle-aged man, slightly
balding with a bushy moustache and a dark complexion. He always wears the same clothes, a burgundy
button-up shirt with the logo of the ice cream company and black pants. I think it is the uniform that he
is required to wear. His cart looks very old. I have been seeing him standing in the same spot after school
for about six years now, although I’m sure he has been there longer. He sells many types of ice creams,
from bricks and sundaes to cones and lollies. He is a very animated and polite person who always talks to
the students kindly and makes very good recommendations. He has become a fixture outside the school
premises almost as much as the teachers are inside.
