Why I Recommend AdGuard

Abhishek · Teacher and Digital Creator

As a teacher, I spend much of my day online. I prepare lessons, check reference material, manage the school’s website, and run my own tuition classes. Pop-up ads, auto-playing videos, and tracking scripts make that work harder than it should be. AdGuard fixes this for me, and I now use it in almost every part of my digital life.

📱 On my phone and in my apps

On my phone, I use AdGuard’s Private DNS setting, which filters ads and trackers across the apps I use, not just in the browser. Pages load faster, and the constant interruptions that used to break my concentration are gone. When I am reading a lesson plan or researching a topic, I can focus on the material instead of dismissing banners.

Blocking ads is only part of the story. AdGuard also limits the trackers that follow me from site to site, which gives me more control over my personal data.

🏫 At the school

AdGuard is also in use at the institution where I work. A school network serves many teachers, staff, and devices at once, so filtering at that level is practical. It keeps shared connections cleaner and reduces the chance of unwanted content reaching people who are simply trying to do their jobs.

🎓 For my students

Many students struggle to concentrate when every page is crowded with ads and pop-ups. I explain how filtering helps them stay focused on homework and research, and how trackers collect information about them without their knowledge. Protecting their attention and privacy early is a habit I want them to build.

🤝 For colleagues and staff

Teachers and office staff rely on the same network and devices all day, so a cleaner connection saves time for everyone. AdGuard works without constant manual setup, and it reduces the risk of malicious ads and phishing pages during busy school hours.

⭐ My verdict

After using AdGuard on my phone, across my apps, and on my school’s network, I consider it one of the most practical tools in my routine. It makes the web more pleasant to use, respects my attention, and works quietly in the background. If you spend your days online and are tired of distractions, it is well worth trying.
